The opportunity
The main role of the Enterprise Architect, Data and AI is to provide leadership, direction, and supervision of the architectural aspects of Teva’s Enterprise Architecture Road map implementation. In addition, the Enterprise Architect will lead and participate in digital innovation activities.
The Enterprise Architect, Data and AI is responsible for designing and implementing scalable data architectures and AI solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. This role ensures that data platforms and AI models are seamlessly integrated into the organization’s technology stack.
You will be part of Teva Global IT Architecture and Technology team, reporting directly to Dir. Enterprise Architect. Through this role, you will be able to impact Teva IT journey and support the company strategy. This role is highly visible, and you will be working with both IT leadership, IT delivery teams and business stakeholders.

How you’ll spend your day
As Assoc. Director, Enterprise Architect, Data and AI, you will be responsible for discovering and architecting IT platforms and solutions. Your responsibilities include the following:
• Design data architectures that support the deployment of AI models, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Assessing current architecture (Cloud, On-Prem) and designing new architecture that meets the requirements and goals.
• Lead efforts to transition from on-prem legacy architectures to cloud-native data lakes, warehouses, and advanced analytics platforms.
• Communicate complex technical architectures and AI strategies to senior leadership and peers, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
• Maintaining the technology landscape and evaluating with the IT Management Units (ITMUs) how new technologies will provide new business capabilities and efficiencies.
• Leading the process of introducing new applications and technologies into the portfolio together with the ITMUs.
• Maintaining major systems and technologies roadmap. Plan with the ITMUs the implementation of this roadmap – in specific: major upgrades, technology changes and systems decommissioning.
• Ensuring that the architecture meets security and compliance requirements for data privacy, access control, and disaster recovery.
• Implementing within the architecture, best practices including cost optimization, scalability, and performance.
• Act as the solution architect for the assigned projects – develop the solution level architecture.
• Responsible for identifying trends, disruptive applications and technologies that can substantially impact the ITMUs and business capabilities.
• Working closely with your architecture teammates, sharing information, collaborating, and supporting other architecture activities.
• Working closely with delivery teams such as: cloud engineering, security, data teams, as well as other IT professionals to ensure that your solutions meet the requirements and can be integrated into existing IT landscape.
• Engage and support the ITMUs in performing Proof of Concepts of new applications and technologies.
• Keeping up to date with new technologies and driving the evaluation and assessment of those technologies with various delivery units.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and IT leaders to identify opportunities for digital, cloud-based solutions that can drive business growth and innovation.
• Lead and participate in digital innovation activities that may transform the way Teva works.
