We are looking for a Data-Scientist who will join our Biostatistics group in Israel.
The Data Scientist will work in a multi-disciplinary environment involving software engineers, physicists, algorithm engineers and physicians.
This full-time position is reported to Senior Manager, Data Scientist and located at our R&D center, Haifa, Israel
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop machine learning models to extract data from complex documents, such as electronic medical records (EMRs).
Perform survival analysis using state-of-the-art methods.
Collaborate with medical experts to enhance medical datasets, lead discussions, understand project needs from partners, and integrate their domain knowledge into production algorithms.
Work closely with engineers and scientists to incorporate data analysis methods into products.
Provide stakeholders with entrepreneurial guidance to interpret findings, build on them, and fully exploit their potential.
Write specifications and prepare presentations for patents, regulatory submissions, academic conferences, and other scientific publications.
Actively participate in the full cycle of iterative big data exploration, including hypothesis formulation, algorithm development, data cleansing, testing, insight generation, and visualization.
Apply proven methods and hacking skills to work with diverse data types, scales, and big data, exploring and extrapolating data-driven insights using advanced predictive statistical modeling and testing on cleansed data from various sources.
