Software Engineering Tech Lead

Lead the design and technical development of full-stack features, with a focus on backend development (Javascript/Typescript) and front-end (React).
Build and own new features in our core product, driving real impact and ensuring deliverables are completed from planning through to production.
Ensure the production of high-quality code that is readable, testable, and maintainable.
Design scalable and efficient software components that perform smoothly under load.
Proactively raise potential issues and propose solutions to both technical and business challenges.
Identify areas that can benefit from re-architecture to support future scalability and proactively drive the necessary improvements.
Provide mentorship and guidance to developers, helping them grow their skills in coding, testing strategies, and best practices to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Experience working with microservice architecture & distributed systems.
Experience in server-side development using Node.js.
Experience working with databases (SQL, MongoDB) & messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Demonstrated leadership in driving technical initiatives and improvements.
Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively share knowledge and collaborate across teams.
A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your teams technical direction and operational efficiency.
