Role Overview
As a Backend Team Lead, youll begin in a hands-on capacity, working closely with your team members. Over time, youll gradually take on more leadership responsibilities, including managing and prioritizing their day-to-day tasks.
Responsibilities:
Develop and test the platform API on AWS infrastructure.
Lead the research and development of our analytics and risk computation layer.
Develop and test the integration API on AWS infrastructure and lead external integrations.
Design new system components with a focus on high availability, scalability, and performance.
Create, test, manage, and continuously review your developers code.
Work in a small, collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Team Lead role.
Minimum of 5 years of server-side Java development experience.
Experience with server-side Python development.
Proven experience leading integrations with third-party vendors and external development teams.
Experience with big data and AI-based model integrations.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Experience with Amazon Web Services technologies (SQS, S3).
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
Familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD) platforms (ArgoCD).
Experience troubleshooting real-time server-side applications and multi-component platforms.
