Required Principal Rust Software Engineer – Data Classification (Cortex Cloud)

As a Principal Engineer on the Data Classification team, youll lead the design and development of scalable solutions that help customers understand and protect their data. Youll work across the full product lifecycle- design, implementation, testing, and deploymentwhile collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. Beyond your own contributions, youll raise the bar for those around you, driving innovation, mentoring teammates, and pushing for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with other cross functional teams in order to create tight integrations of product features and infrastructure

Requirements:
BSc degree in Computer Science and 8+ years of work experience or MSc degree in Computer Science with 6+ years experience or equivalent military experience
Strong understanding of Rust & idiomatic concepts
Python experience in a large-scale cloud environment
Strong understanding of how applications and OS interact
Experience with multi-threaded and multi-process development with a focus on performance
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infra – Have the ability to make stuff work" on top of writing good code
Outstanding drive and communication skills
Advantages:
