The Position
You will lead the Clinical Medical Managers (CMM) team by providing guidance on priorities and oversight of all activities. You will ensure the team has the right capabilities, skills, and knowledge to perform their tasks. You will identify and map Key Opinion Leaders, investigators and research centres, and collaborate with local and HQ clinical operations teams to perform feasibility and take part in the allocation process. You will provide operational input from country insights to early protocol development, identify and engage with relevant patient advocacy groups while investigating areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration with investigators. Through your team of direct reports, you will facilitate and support the execution of clinical trials related to New Therapy Areas (including CKD, CVD, Liver Disease, and inflammation) by providing medical/scientific expertise.
Your main accountabilities:
Discuss relevant early development data with medical experts, optimizing the feasibility process for clinical trial conduct.
Identify and regularly engage with experts in relevant Therapy Areas to collect early scientific insights and drive the process of mapping of clinical care pathways, working closely with the Medical Affairs team.
Deliver Medical guidance – ensure training of CMMs and other cross functional teams across the affiliate on the scientific background of the trials while providing leadership relevant scientific communities, conducting advisory boards, scientific meetings and publications.
Contribute to delivering successful clinical trials execution in collaboration with the clinical operations team by driving scientific discussions, attendance at investigator meetings, and engaging key investigators to communicate trial results.
Conduct scientific activities aimed at patient retention and recruitment and ensure continuous dialogue with investigators and site staff to support smooth study conduct and insights collection throughout the duration of the study.

The position requires extensive scientific exchange and proactive communications skills. You will travel internationally and nationally to internal meetings, congresses & company events to facilitate collaboration with local stakeholders. Independence, innovation, and initiative should be demonstrated when prioritising planning and performing tasks. The CMM Lead should always perform tasks in compliance with our company's Way.
You should also have:
An advanced degree: MD or PhD in healthcare or life sciences with a strong clinical and preferably research background.
Minimum 4 years of clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2 years experience as a people manager.
Solid experience with human healthcare research and understanding of pharmaceutical drug development.
Experience from Medical Affairs function – advantage.
Fluent in English and Hebrew.
