Requirements:
Own the web application product end to end, directly impacting Prisma Photonics customers.
Lead and mentor our SaaS team of 4 developers (local and remote) on all aspects of development with strong control of both backend and frontend domains.
Own the complete team development cycle, including testing and CI/CD, promoting engineering excellence through code reviews, technical leadership, team ceremonies, knowledge sharing and mentoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infra, Edge, ML, Product) to align engineering with business and product goals.
Manage complex release, versioning and deployment processes for both on-prem and cloud environments.
Manage external UX/UI design partners.
Balance hands-on coding with leadership and management responsibilities.
5 years experience in SaaS design and execution
Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership/management of e2e projects and team.
Proven hands-on experience with JS/TS, Node.js (BE), React (FE) and SQL Databases. Other frameworks an advantage.
Solid understanding of backend architecture, micro-services, and system design.
Experience with automation and modern deployment practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS advantage).
Experience working with Design/CX SW (Figma) for prototyping and feature development.
Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment, where adaptability and hands-on execution are key.
Strong sense of ownership and ability to lead cross team processes in the company.
Computer Science (or equivalent) degree.
Nice to have:
Experience with various JS frameworks and other programming languages
Experience going through security certification processes with SaaS apps and infrastructure; Soc2, NIST, CIP.
Hand on designing and implementing complex systems with micro-services backends and external integrations (external apis, notification/alerting services, SSO, IdP providers, etc).
Experience developing GIS/Map based applications.
Strong experience maintaining SW solutions in production including developing & consuming monitoring, logging, alerting tools and reacting to production issues.
