We are seeking a Production Quality Engineer with a strong hands-on background in electromechanical systems, manufacturing quality control, and process improvement Job Description:
* Perform in-depth quality inspections across all production stages, including mechanical assemblies, electronics, wiring, and precision components.
* Document inspections and non-conformities in ERP systems (e.g., Priority), ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and aerospace/defense standards.
* Lead root cause analyses and manage CAPA processes in collaboration with Engineering, Production, and QA teams.
* Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce defects, optimize production flow, and improve product quality and yield.
* Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to management and cross-functional teams.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier and customer sites (domestic and international) for quality oversight. Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in quality control within complex manufacturing environments (preferably aerospace, defense, or high-precision industries).
* Proven experience with electromechanical assemblies and interdisciplinary production lines.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
* Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
* Familiarity with ERP systems for quality management (Priority ERP –an advantage).
* Solid understanding of circuit board assembly, wiring harnesses, mechanical components, and composite materials.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and related standards in manufacturing – strong advantage.
