As a Python Developer, youll:
Design and implement infrastructure to allocate, configure and troubleshoot servers
Design and implement software to configure networking on the servers and on the switch ports
Troubleshoot SW infrastructure and physical infrastructure in the labs
Work with multiple teams on gathering requirements and coordinating changes
Coordinate resource sharing between R&D teams
Define and implement infrastructure monitoring strategies using modern observability tools
Ensure efficient operation of test environments and hardware qualification processes
Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives and best practices adoption
Establish and maintain documentation for lab processes, infrastructure, and operational procedures
Perform capacity planning and resource allocation for lab environments
Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming with Python, demonstrating expertise in class design, inheritance hierarchies, and polymorphism. Experience implementing operator overloading and magic methods to create intuitive and maintainable code interfaces. Mid to expert-level capability in designing scalable, reusable code architectures using OOP principles and best practices.
Mid to expert-level familiarity with Linux operating system and networking.
3+ years of experience in on-prem Operations, DevOps, System Administration, or similar technical roles
5+ years of SW development experience
Experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
