The Regulatory and Hazardous Materials Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with Israeli government laws and regulations regarding the import, marketing, and distribution of hazardous chemicals and poisons. The role focuses on ensuring the safety of customers, suppliers, and employees while preventing harm or risk to the environment.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Management: Coordinate with government ministries, particularly the Ministry of Environmental Protection, on matters of poison permits.
Professional Consultation: Provide advice on hazardous materials safety and regulation of dangerous chemicals, including import requirements and poison permits.
Hazardous Materials Management: Responsibility for handling poison orders, managing the poison ledger and required permits.
Order Control: Ensure that customer orders are processed only in accordance with valid poison permits or in quantities allowed without a permit.
Information Management: Continuously update the company's database regarding customer poison permits.
Customer Service: Support customer requests and internal/external communication to ensure fast and professional service.
Medical Device Approvals (AMAR): Coordinate medical device approval processes with external entities.

Education: Bachelor of Science, an advantage.
Experience: Working with government offices, importing and exporting chemicals.
Languages: High proficiency in English.
