As a Senior Backend Engineer, youll join a growing global team at our company, shaping the future of eCommerce. Youll develop and maintain the core selling and order management capabilities for all our company verticals. Working in a highly distributed, cutting-edge environment, youll play a central role in building scalable, resilient systems that handle millions of requests per minute.
Build and maintain backend systems to process 1.5 million API requests and 400,000 events per minute
Design, implement and optimize scalable and resilient systems with an API-first approach
Solve high-scale technical challenges in a distributed microservices environment (~100 microservices)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across the platform
Lead technical initiatives to improve system performance, reliability and scalability
Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them reach their full potential
Write clean, test-driven code, ensuring high-quality deployments to production for millions of users.

6+ years of experience as a backend engineer
Possess an in-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles
Background in design, with passion for Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology
Knowledge and interest in microservice architectures
Actively up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Team player committed to the success of the team, with proven ability to mentor and guide.
