Who We're Looking For – The Dream Maker As a Senior data Analyst, youll be Embedded within the R&D team, working alongside data Scientists and Senior Engineers. Your mission is to build a world-class understanding of transaction behaviors, chargeback patterns, and payment flows. Youll leverage deep payments domain expertise to guide product decisions, optimize detection and automation models, and uncover high-impact insights from complex data sets. You are not just a number cruncher, you are a storyteller, a domain expert, and a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of data, product, and engineering. Your Arena:
* Own and lead analytical projects across the payments lifecycle: from order creation to dispute resolution.
* Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to design metrics and deliver insights that shape roadmap decisions.
* Conduct deep-dive investigations into chargeback patterns, merchant behavior, fraud signals, and transaction anomalies.
* Collaborate closely with the data engineering team to improve our data models, pipelines, and analytics infrastructure.
* Translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined analytical frameworks and execute them end-to-end.
* Own and lead analytical projects across the payments lifecycle: from order creation to dispute resolution.

Requirements:
What It Takes:
4+ years of hands-on experience as a data analyst, with strong exposure to the payments or finance industry (e.g., credit card processing, PSPs, chargebacks, fraud, risk analytics) Advanced SQL proficiency ; comfortable querying complex schemas across billions of rows – Must.
* Proven experience working with Python – Must.
* Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience working closely with R&D teams or within a product-driven company.
* Exceptional ownership mindset; you drive projects independently and take pride in delivering value.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Proven experience working with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI).
* Understanding of Machine Learning models, evaluations & principles.
* Understanding of statistical techniques and A/B testing principles.
