The role involves overseeing and monitoring our Production environment, ensuring reliability and scalability while always introducing new and innovative solutions using the latest cutting-edge technologies.
All workloads are K8s-based deployments running on spot instances, in a multi-cloud arena, with AWS as our core cloud provider. Our unique architecture is fully stateless, utilizing cloud native S3 as elastic storage volume but also uses it as our data lake – later analyzed by Aiflow (Data Transformation) and Clickhouse (high-speed query tool).
This simple, yet innovative design, allows for frequent developing iterations with minimum interruption to our day to day work – enabling constant optimization efforts!
Responsibilities
Proactively optimizing and enhancing Finout delivery and live production environments.
Enabling R&D by standardizing processes and providing self-serving tools that allow safe and prompt execution
Providing efficient visibility standards for better decision-making across all teams
Enforcing Security and Compliance on a day-to-day basis
Continuously challenging existing technological stack and processes by proactively introducing and developing new tools
6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
Strong culture of metrics-driven decision making and optimization of live deployments
Hands-on experience with managing and maintaining cloud native K8s workloads using ArgoCD or other Gitops approach
Expertise in developing and maintaining large-scale Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform, Crossplane, ad-hoc SDK, or similar methodologies.
Strong understanding of Security & Networking principles, Certification processes, and Load balancing schemes
Good familiarity with Data flows, messaging mechanisms, and other data handling methodologies
Proven coding and scripting skills in Python, Bash, Node.js or equivalent
