As the Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of the Core team responsible for the architecture, technology, and implementation of AI code modernization solutions.

Research existing and new technologies in the AI domain in order to solve application code modernization challenges.
Work with multiple AI teams in our company.
Collaborate with customers and partners for requirements understanding and mapping.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
5 years of experience leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Experience with modern LLMs and generative models.
Preferred qualifications:
PhD with specification in ML or Large Language Models or related fields.
Experience designing and working with Enterprise Mainframe applications and technology which includes: Mainframe and iSeries architecture, COBOL, JCL, Cics, RPG, DB2, IMS, and other MF technologies.
Understanding and experience designing and architecting modern enterprise production systems for customers using AI.
Ability to come up with creative solutions to problems.
Ability to present and explain complex ideas/solutions to different audiences.
