Role Overview:
As VP Engineering, you will be the top authority and strategic leader of the companys engineering organization, overseeing the full delivery function. You will lead and expand a team of 30+ developers working within six cross-functional squads, each collaborating closely with a dedicated Product Manager. Reporting to the CTO, you will be directly accountable for execution, delivery, and the overall performance of the engineering group. This role is pivotal in translating the companys vision into scalable, high-quality technology solutions, while fostering a culture rooted in technical excellence, ownership, agility, and ongoing improvement.
What are we looking for
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long-term engineering vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the companys overall business objectives.
Organizational Management: Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing engineering organization of 40+ engineers. Directly manage and coach Team Leads, and oversee the performance and development of their squads.
Process & Delivery Optimization: Continuously improve engineering workflows, development velocity, and product quality by refining processes, adopting best practices, and promoting agile (SCRUM) methodologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and other departments to drive alignment, transparency, and shared ownership across the company.
Technology & Innovation Leadership: Serve as a key technology advocatestay ahead of industry trends and guide the adoption of tools, frameworks, and architectures that position the company for long-term success.
Data-Driven Management: Define, track, and optimize key engineering KPIs to measure success, identify bottlenecks, and support continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.
